We are building something meaningful, and the quality of each songwriter's contribution reflects the spirit and standard of this event. Perfection is not required, but preparation and care are. By participating, you're helping shape a space for honest, intentional storytelling through song. We are looking for songwriters from South Georgia who:
Will bring their best work.
We expect thoughtfulness, effort, and emotional honesty.
Your songs don't have to be polished or perfect (we kind of love the human-ness of something imperfect), but they should reflect your unique voice and craft.
Write music without a worship environment in mind.
The Echo Room is a performance environment.
We welcome themes of faith, God, and eternity when they are authentic reflections of the songwriters, but we do ask that you reserve any worship-specific songs for a different environment.
If you are ever on the fence wondering if the song is appropriate for the Echo Room, please reach out to us!
Will perform 2–4 original songs (time limits will be shared in advance).
We will ask for a specific number via email from each selected performer.
Will share the story or inspiration behind each piece.
Think of this like a living-room performance, not a traditional gig.
Will promote the event on their personal platforms.
Will respect the space and other performers.
This is a listening environment.
“Up-next” performers take highly visible seats in the stage area and your attentiveness sets the tone/expectation for the audience.
Will perform original work only (no covers or co-writes unless pre-approved).
Are willing to be filmed and photographed for recap media.
